Senior Project Manager - Voluntary Carbon Markets (f/m/x)

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Monitoring carbon market developments and various initiatives around Net Zero Target Guidance, Claims, Offset Creditability and Carbon Credit Quality
  • Competence training for new and existing sales managers on topics relevant to them
  • Organization and implementation of workshops and webinars (internal/external)
  • Participation in important external working groups, in particular ICROA Policy
  • Supporting the Consulting Team with questions related to CDP, SBTi, NetZero
  • Project planning and project management
  • Introduction, preparation and implementation of audits and certifications
  • Participation in conferences and events
Specific Requirements
  • University degree in Environmental Sciences, Economics, Sustainability Management or other carbon related fields 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the field of carbon markets, environmental project assessment or equivalent
  • Deep understanding of the voluntary carbon markets
  • Experience in engaging with external stakeholders and networking activities
  • Self-motivated and engaged for the mitigation of the climate crisis
  • Excellent command of German and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office environment, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
